In the winter time you should place an order when your tanks are no lower than 30%. In the summer when usage is lower you can order around 20%.
If you have an online account with Amerigas you can login and check to see the tank percentage Amerigas has for you and make adjustments to the record as needed.
Please Note: Extreme weather and unforeseen events can interfere with delivery schedules and your order can be as far out as 10 days.
